  • Lipo-6 Review

    What is it?

Lipo-6 is a weight loss pill claiming to offer a groundbreaking new formula for fast fat loss. It’s meant to offer a healthy solution for weight loss, with its fast acting capsule and pharmaceutical strength and easy to absorb ingredients.

It also adds that it’s the first liquid capsule diet pill on the market.  Since it does have stimulants, the bottle mentions that use is limited to 8 week periods, and only for healthy people. So is Lipo-6 truly an effective and safe solution for weight loss? What have other users experienced, and is it really as useful as it claims to be? In this comprehensive review you’ll learn the truth about this weight loss supplement.

Do You Know the Best Weight Loss Pills of 2016?

    Lipo-6 Ingredients and Side Effects

    Caffeine Anhydrous
    Synephrine HCL
    Synthetic 99% Guggulsterones Z&E 1:1
    Bioperine
    Yohimbine HCL

    Glycerin
    Vegetable Cellulose
    Purified Water
    Polysorbate 90

Caffeine Anhydrous: Dehydrated form of caffeine used to stimulate the central nervous system, it increases energy, mental focus, and increases metabolism.

A full serving of Lipo-6 provides 400 mg of caffeine, which is the advised maximum daily limit for caffeine. Mixing it with other stimulants may increase the risk for side effects that include:

Headaches, ringing in the ears, migraines.
    Nausea, vomiting, and mood swings.
Rapid heart rate, anxiety, and uncomfortable feelings.
    Anxiety, jitters, and muscle spasms.

Caffeine is not a long-term solution for weight loss or energy, since Examine.com mentions:

“Habitual caffeine use leads to tolerance, which dulls several of caffeine’s effects”

It reduced any of its effects to almost nothing, the same group mentions:

“often to the point where the only benefit a user experiences is caffeine’s anti-sleep effect”

Caffeine is also tolerated differently depending on who is using it. In certain people lesser amounts are needed before side effects are experienced.

Also, when mixing caffeine with other stimulants, it can potentially multiply the possible effects which may also cause increase side effects.

Synephrine HCL: Stimulant known as bitter orange, it raises blood pressure, increases circulation, and is used for fat burning.

Web MD has also expressed concern over the use of this:

“bitter orange is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss”

    It can potentially cause:

Rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and fainting.
Heart attack, stroke, and many other cardiovascular problems.
Headaches, migraines, and ringing in the ears.

This ingredient can increase the effects of caffeine, and this may cause potentially more serious side effects.  Though this combination of ingredients is often touted as a potent weight loss mixture, it can cause numerous unwanted symptoms.

Bitter orange has shown multiple cases of people experiencing heart attacks, stroke, and even death on its own.

Synthetic 99% Guggulsterones Z&E 1:1: A synthetic version of an extract taken from the Guggul tree. It’s claimed to improve thyroid function, though Examine.com adds:

“has been investigated for their usage in elevating thyroid function, but with lackluster results”

“not effective for the main means it is marketed for (fat loss)”

    Possible side effects may include:

    Rashes and allergic reactions.
    Hiccups, belching, and upset stomach.
    Nausea, vomiting, and loose stools.

Yohimbine HCL: Evergreen tree extract used as a fat burner and general stimulant. It increases blood flow, and is known to have a high rate of causing anxiety.

    Web MD mentions that it’s:

    “POSSIBLY UNSAFE”

“Yohimbe has been linked to reports of serious side effects”

    This can include:

Rapid heart rate, cardiovascular problems, and heart attack.
    Seizures, tremors, and involuntary twitches.
Kidney failure, organ failure, and death.

There have been documented cases of people dying from the use of this ingredient.

Certain people may have a serious reaction to this ingredient. Which Drugs.com mentions can lead to:

“central nervous system stimulation and paralysis, and may precipitate psychoses in predisposed individuals”

The effects of this ingredient are often only seen when fasting.

EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven fat burner such as Sletrokor for better results.

    Lipo-6 Quality of Ingredients

Of the 5 active ingredients, 3 are cheap stimulants which may potentially cause side effects. Synthetic Guggulsterones are also added, though these have been studied and shown to not have any effect on fat burning.

Relying on stimulants for weight loss is not recommended, as it may increase the risk for side effects. It’s also not a long-term solution, since the company admits an 8 week long timeframe is the longest one should use this brand for. They fail to explain what might happen if one continue to take it, though tolerance and possible side effects are the likely reasons.

There’s nothing in this brand that isn’t already found in many other products.

This product has the maximum amount of caffeine allowed in a day. Increased amounts can potentially cause serious unwanted side effects. Not everyone reacts to these ingredients the same way. That’s why the bottle advises to seek medical assistance if one has any medical concerns.

Use of this formula can potentially cause cardiovascular symptoms, and that’s why it’s advised to take this with caution, and to slowly introduce each dose.

The Price and Quality of Lipo-6

When purchased via the manufacturer, a 120 capsule bottle lasting 30 days sells for $49.95. This means the daily price for use is $1.66.

Many of these stimulant ingredients are already found in severeal other weight loss pills. Though these ingredients aren’t considered long term solutions, as the bottle itself says people should limit themselves to just 8 weeks of use.

These ingredients are cheap and can easily be replaced with simple coffee or tea.  The only non stimulant additive is Bioperine, which is a patented form of black pepper for better digestion.

It’s because of all these stimulant ingredients that this brand is not fairly priced. Stimulants can only be taken for short periods before a tolerance is built. This requires cycling of the brand, which means there’s certain periods where you shouldn’t use this in order to prevent possible side effects or a lack of benefits.

    Business of Lipo-6

The company is owned by Nutrex Research Inc., and they can be contacted via the following:

    Phone Number: (888) 368-8739

    Address:  579 S Econ Cir

    Oviedo, Florida 32765

The FDA sent them a warning letter over the use of DMAA in older batches of Lipo-6. According to the FDA, this ingredient has the potential to cause serious side effects:

“could range from shortness of breathe to tightening of the chest and/or possible myocardial infarction (heart attack)”

This potentially harmful ingredient was also not FDA approved, so the makers were required to stop adding it. Another warning letter was sent over the use of DMBA in their brands.  The FDA stated:

“there is no history of use or other evidence of safety “

Twice the FDA had to correct the company for using potentially harmful ingredients to their supplements. These additivrs have both not been recognized as being safe or effective, so it’s unknown why they would add it to their brands.

The possibility for serious side effects is too high to justify the use of them. It’s unknown if the company does enough research into their ingredients. As thee additives have long been known to be potentially harmful to human health.

EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using weight loss pills for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.

    Customer Opinions of Lipo-6

Here are some select reviews from people online:

“did not lose weight. Did not have any effect whatsoever”

“it’s a waste of money and it did not work”

“Instead of losing weight I gained 7 lbs.”

“This stuff did nothing to curb my appetite or to burn fat”

There were a few issues with side effects and some actually gained weight. Though some users did experience an increase in energy, any high amount of caffeine would have the exact same effect.

There was concern from certain people that this brand failed to produce any effects at all. For some, even adding diet and exercise had no noticeable results.

    Conclusion – Does Lipo-6 Work?

When considering a brand like Lipo-6, it’s important to look at both the kind of ingredients, and what clinical studies have to say. The mixture of these stimulant ingredients and other additives may be potentially unsafe. That’s why organizations like Web MD have warned against their use for fat burning. Customers have also experienced a wide array of effects from weight gain to stimulant like side effects. The company has also had to reformulate their supplements on 2 separate occasions, for adding ingredients the FDA deemed potentially unhealthy and unproven for weight loss.

A stimulant free option which ranked as the 2016 best supplement of the year is available in Sletrokor.

This weight loss supplement has the overall benefit of weight loss with only natural wholesome ingredients. It’s been shown via customer testimonials to be a safe and effective weight loss product. It’s meant to suppress appetite, increase metabolism, improve overall mood, and several other benefits. You can read about these effects from customers who experienced them on their official website.

Sletrokor is also backed by a full 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you don’t like it, you can return it no questions asked.

  • Books that Inadvertently Almost (Maybe Did) Traumatize My Child

WheretheWildThingsAre_400Good intentions. Well, we know how that road goes. You turn on a movie before you realize are they are, wait, are they… oh god. You start to read a book without realizing it has something scary in it. We’ve all been there.  I blame lack of sleep over lack of awareness. Some kids are perfectly fine sitting through Star Wars and some of those same kids get freaked out watching Paddington Bear (who knew that blowing up a galaxy is apparently less frightening than being shipped off to a new country by yourself with only a note to “look after this bear?”).

Maybe you’ve had a book as a kid that still scares the dickens out of you. I do. Suffice it to say I was convinced Hitler was alive and well in New Jersey (no need to get into the details). My mother, a teacher, lived by the mantra “There’s a book for that” and promptly bought me a book to help: Starring Sally J. Freedman as Herself, by Judy Blume. It is about a girl who believes Hitler is alive and well. I’m sure it was meant to be reassuring (spoiler alert: Hitler was indeed dead), but it only convinced me that I wasn’t crazy to have this thought. That book haunted me. It had to be turned around, upside down, hidden in the back of my bookshelf. The cover still gives me nightmares. As an adult I can see that it was a pretty rational, even insightful choice; a story meant to appeal as a character who might feel the same angst I did. As an adult I see that while the Holocaust definitely plays into it, there’s a lot more about the story of a girl trying to find her way. I totally missed all that by getting hung up on the “Hitler might be in Miami Beach” plot.

To Be Filed Under: I Will Never Make the Mistakes My Mother Made
Maurice Sendak’s classic Where the Wild Things Are has been written about extensively, both from the perspective that it really understands children and the perspective that it scares the hell out of them. Under the “Well, I’m sitting right here next to him so nothing could scare him that much and it IS a classic” premise, I started reading the book. It scared the crap out of him. I mean, in retrospect, we’re talking about wild things coming out at night. Even if they are friendly, they still lurk. And I was reading this to a kid who was/is/probably forever will be afraid to go to sleep without a parent in the room. Publishers sometimes make really dumb book choices. Ooopsies.

I will say that I am not a proponent of keeping children in a bubble. And I think books are a wonderful way for them to explore things that in real life may be frightening. It’s a “safe” way for them to try on situations, go on adventures, take part in an alternate reality and still wake up safely in their own beds. In fact there are professionals who argue that one of the best ways for kids to confront fears like this is head on through a story.

And let’s not lose sight of the fact that books are inherently vehicles for escape. When adults read we love to get in the minds of criminals and sociopaths, see into the hearts of the villains, explore situations we never would in the real world. It fires up imaginations, gives us insight, allows us to try on a few costumes. That’s why we love books and that’s why we want, as parents, to instill a love of reading.

But, again, the running theme of this blog comes to play: Kids are different. While most Judy Blume books were a way for me to live through friendships gone bad, first crushes, disappointments and fears about adolescence, Starring Sally J. Freedman was a book that made me want to throw up. Some kids will be intrigued about pushing boundaries in a story. Some kids will slam that cover shut faster than you can say “Chapter One.” There’s nothing wrong with trying different books, and you might have to so you can see where your child lands in the “This is cool” vs. “I never want to see this book again” ends of the spectrum.

You know your kids. Even if you are halfway through a book and you see “that look” or the eyes go wide or they start to scooch closer to you while gripping your arm, stop. Ask what’s scaring them. Try to talk through it. Read it together, even if, maybe especially if, it’s an older child. If it’s not working then shut the book. Depending on the trauma level you can either leave it in their room and say “maybe we’ll read it again another time” or take it with you: “I’ll keep this in another room/far away/hidden on another planet.” I would advise against the “it’s just a book” line. Because it’s not: it’s a world. And even if it’s a made up world to them it still kind of exists. Even if the worst happens and you totally traumatize your child with a book that will scare her for the next three decades, don’t worry: sometimes those kids grow up to be editors.

Books that inadvertently scared (hopefully not scarred) my children include We’re Going On A Bear Hunt in which a family has to run from a threatening bear (yeah that one should have been obvious) and Whose Mouse Are You? a wonderful classic in which mouse’s parents get eaten by other animals (don’t worry, they are all ok in the end).

In a series of delightfully imaginary achievements, “nobody’s mouse” transforms himself into the beloved hero of his mother, father, sister, and brand-new baby brother. In their very first collaboration, now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Robert Kraus and Jose Aruego give charm and validity to one of childhood’s more difficult experiences. Tender and catchy, Robert Kraus’s rhyming text, combined with Jose Aruego’s large, vibrantly clever illustrations, makes for a storytime classic. This happy picture book is brusting with wit, tenderness, and joyful ingenuity.

  • OxyELITE Pro Review

    What is it?

OxyELITE Pro is a weight loss pill made with 6 active ingredients claiming to offer great thermogenic effects. It also adds that it has been pharmacist formulated, and university studied.

It’s advised to take this brand with caution, as its stimulant effects can be very strong.  The benefits of this brand are meant to be increased metabolism, enhanced thyroid function, reduced blood sugar, increased serotonin, cholesterol reduction, and more energy. Are these claims actually true? Will taking this supplement be safe to use? Many interesting things were discovered about OxyELITE Pro that will be covered in this full review.

Do You Know the Best Weight Loss Pills of 2016?

OxyELITE Pro Ingredients and Side Effects

    Bauhinia Purpurea L Extract
    Aegeline
    Norcoclaurine HCI
    Hemerocallis Fulva Heat Concentrated Extract
    Yohimbe Extract

    Caffeine
    Modified Starch
    Gelatin
    Vegetable Stearate
    Silicon Dioxide

    Red 3
    Blue 1
    Red 40
    Titanium Dioxide Color

Bauhinia Purpurea Extract: Flowering plant found in parts of Asia. Many chemical compounds can be extracted from this.

There isn’t much information about this plant, and it’s unknown if it’s effective or safe for weight loss.  No studies are provided either by the manufactures.

Aegeline: Extract of a plant used in Ayurvedic medicine.  It’s used to help lower blood sugar, although this effect has only been seen in animals.

The Human Performance Resource Center adds:

“insufficient information about the safety of aegeline, it is not possible to predict side effects or drug interactions”

Due to the lack of quality information, it’s unknown if this ingredient would be either safe or effective.

Norcoclaurine HCI: Extract of the nandina plant, which is used to help burn fat. Though Examine.com adds:

    “limited evidence on these claims”

It’s also banned by the NCAA, and in certain parts of the world.

Hemerocallis Fulva Heat Concentrate Extract: Flowering plant grown in aprts of Asia. It’s used to help with mood. There has not been many studies to show what kinds of long-term effects it may have, and whether or not it’s safe.

Yohimbe Extract: Evergreen tree found native to parts of Africa. It’s key chemical increases blood flow and improves nerve impulses. It’s used as a weight loss ingredient, and as a way to improve athlethic performance.

Though there have been serious concenrs about its safety. Web MD mentions:

“Yohimbe, taken by mouth, is POSSIBLY UNSAFE”

“Yohimbe has been linked to reports of severe side effects”

This can include serious problems such as:

Difficulty breathing, uncomfortable rapid heart rate and stroke.
    Anxiety, mood swings, and depression.
Kidney failure, seizure, and even death.

These types of effects may be increased with the use of other stimulants found in OxyELITE Pro.

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health also mentions:

“It is not know whether yohimbe is effective for any health condition because clinical trials have not been conducted”

Caffeine: Common stimulant added to icnrase energy, metabolism, and to help suppress appetite. There’s a total of 100 mg of caffeine per serving, and since one can take a maximum advised limit of 4 servings, it can provide upwards of 400 mg.

This is the maximum recommended dosage for the average person, as it may result in side effects when more is used.

Though since there is added yohimbe alongside other ingredints, it may increase the risk for symptoms that include:

Rapid heart rate, anxiety, and cardiovasucalr issues.
    Insomnia, fatigue, and restlessness.
    Mood swings, irratibility, and agitation.
Stroke, heart attack, and muscle spasms.
Dehydration, headaches, and ringing in the ears.

Red 3: Commonly used food coloring found in processed foods. Food Safety News.com mentions:

“Red 3… should be banned… because they cause cancer in rats”

There is no nutritional value to this ingredient at all.

Blue 1: Blue food coloring that is poorly absorbed by the body. It ends up around 95% of it in feces.

The FDA also sent out a warning letter on this ingredient:

“several reports of toxicity, including death, temporally associated with the use of FD%C Blue No.1”

Red 40: A red food coloring often extracted from sodium salts.  A study published in Pub Med adds:

“contain benzidene, a human and animal carcinogen”

It’s because of this potentially cancer causing effect that the Center for Science in the Public Interest has asked the FDA to ban this ingredient.  Much like the other food colorings added to this supplement, it has no nutritional value, and it’s only added to help the product look a certain way.

EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven fat burner such as Sletrokor for better results.

    OxyELITE Pro Quality of Ingredients

This brand relies on potentially harmful stimulants in order to produce weight loss.  Due to the high risk involved, it’s possible to expeince severe issues.

Many of these ingredients lack any studies showing what kinds of an effect that may have, or if they are safe. There’s also no evidence provided by the manufacturers to help prove that there’s a weight loss effect to all these ingredients.

Another issue is due to the stimulants. This is not a long term solution to weight loss, as it can result in unwanted side effects. Stimulants also require cycling, in order to keep the effects.

The Price and Quality of OxyELITE Pro

Different retailers sell this brand, and one store sells it for $33.99 which is for a 90 capsule serving. The manximum dosage is 4 capsules a day, which would amount to 22.5 servings at $1.51 per daily serving.

Many of these ingredients have been shown to be potentially harmful. There’s also inactive ingredients like food colorings, which may also cause issues.

The manufacturers no longer list this as one of their supplements. Instead, other 3rd party sellers are allowed to sell and market his brand. It’s unknown if they are selling fresh batches, and none of these sellers allow for a money back return.

There’s currently a FDA warning against the use of this brand that is gone over in the “Business of OxyELITE Pro” section. It’s for these reasons that the quality is poor, no matter the price.

    Business of OxyELITE Pro

The company is owned by USPlabs Supplements. They can be reached via the following contact details:

    Phone Number: (800) 890-3067

No address is offered on their official website, and they offer a contact form instead of an email.

The company has been subject to controversies due to the quality of their brands and the marketing used.  The FDA mentions:

“11-count indictment was unsealed… against USPlabs”

“conspirary to import ingredients from China using false certificates of analysis and false labeling”

The suit alleged that the company used cheap and unwholesome ingredients, instead of real plant botanicals.

Another notice was sent out by the FDA that showed:

“warned consumers not to use certain USP labs proucts that were found to contain a new dietay ingredient that had not been shown to be safe”

“adverse events linked to acute liver failure or non-viral hepatitis so severe that several patients needed liver transplants, and one resulted in death”

Another warning was sent out by the FDA for this brand:

“advising consumers not to purchase or use Oxy ELITE Pro Super Thermogenic”

“contains Fluoxetine. Fluoxetine is an FDA approved drugs… used for treating depression, bulimia …”

“have been associated with serious side effects including suicidal thinking, abnormal bleeding, and seizures”

This FDA notice was sent out on 2015, it’s unknown if recent batches of this supplement still contain this potentially dangerous drug.

EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using weight loss pills for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.

    Customer Opinions of OxyELITE Pro

Reviews of this brand are featured on multiple websites. Here’s what a few users have had to say:

    “This product is not healthy”

    “Migraines and stiff neck”

“I now have damage to my left ventricle and a hospital bill of $31,000”

    “I suffered severe clinical depression”

Many serious side effects were reported such as organ failure, severe depression, anxiety, and rapid heart rate.

Unfortunately for customers, there is no way to make a return on this product.  Some people did say they experienced weight loss, but it’s unknown if this is due to the high amounts of stimulants used.

Conclusion – Does OxyELITE Pro Work?

Before making a decision on OxyELITE Pro, it’s important to look at the manufacturers history, and how customers have reviewed this brand. There have been cases of people experincing organ failure, anxiety, and severe health problems. The company was also struck down by the FDA for using this ingredient, since it contained a prescribed ingredient. These reasons alone make this a very questionable product, it’s possible for death to result through the use of this according to the FDA.

Much better options are avialble from reputable businesses. The 2016 best suppleent of the year has all natural, stimulant free ingredients, and it goes by the name of Sletrokor.

There’s only wholesome ingredients added, and testimonials have been left by greatly satisfied customers who’ve lost weight. This brand has many potent benefits such as metabolism boosting, appetite reduction, increased serotonin, and other potent effects.

You can even try Sletrokor risk free, using their 30-day money back return policy. Returns are offered no questions asked, so anyone can try this brand to see what results it can bring.

  • Jul 9, Tough but Damm Worth It

I realize that many people come to a page such as this and can be put off because fasting can be hard. Yes, fasting can be hard. It can be very hard. But what in life that is worthwhile do we ever achieve without some serious sacrifice. And, believe me, the sacrifice in hunger and discomfort that you pass through while fasting is going to be NOTHING in comparison to the freedom, peace, health and joy you will feel in your heart once you are done. So get over yourself already!

  • How to Organize Bedtime Reading

StacksofBooks_400In my house, my children quickly discovered that I could not say no to a book. This has the ability to delay bedtime by days. I realized that with one child I was regularly reading 12-14 books per night. And while it was wonderfully engaging and wonderful to encourage reading, it was less than wonderful because the child should have been in bed an hour earlier.

In our house the rule is to “pick three books” (Dad) and “pick a few books and if it’s 10 that’s OK” (Mom). Our children get to choose what the nighttime reading is. While sometimes I cringe at the doors I open with that option (and yes sometimes I chant, softly, please don’t pick the 200-page book about the history of the NHL, please don’t pick the 200-page book about the history of the NHL because Mama does not want to read that book) I feel they should be the ones to choose the stories. And I’m always curious to see what they choose. While we have books in regular rotation there’s always a moment of “Hey, look what I found” when an old favorite comes off the shelf, or when a new book is discovered.

Here are a few ideas for organizing things so you don’t accidentally read 14 books:

Be the librarian. Get some “book baskets.” Any basket or bin will do. You could even use a recycled box. When we were away I even used a tote bag. Put a selection of books in the basket each night and let the child choose from those. This limits the “I will find any book in any corner of the house” issue. You can rotate the books by the night, week, or as often as you’d like. I have book baskets in just about every room of the house. We keep the “fun” (i.e. anti-bedtime) books downstairs in the playroom book basket. The morning books are in the basket in our room, and any book that involves a refrain where kids yell is in the closet book basket. (Kidding. Mostly.)

Organize the books. I’m guilty of searching for 20 minutes to find the Curious George book because we’ve misplaced it (and obviously it was in the laundry room because why wouldn’t it be?). If you want to go all out Dewey Decimal system that’s ok but usually just organizing books by format (board books, paperbacks, chapter books) will help you narrow down just where the book is. It will also help your kids find the favorites they are searching for.

Choose wisely. Books that celebrate, that encourage you to get up, that require children to yell back a refrain… all great. But for me, those don’t work at bedtime. I like books that wind down so those are the ones that go into the baskets.

Have a closing number. I learned (sorry, second child) that by ending reading time with the same book every night I was signaling that it was time to turn out the light. Sometimes I have an encore, but generally I know how to sing myself off the stage.

All of this helped me. Now we only read 10 books a night.

    My favorite wind-down books:

    Day is Done

    Day is Done

    by Peter Yarrow

    View Details

Peter Yarrow follows the blockbuster success of Puff, the Magic Dragon with a picture book version of his beautiful song, “Day Is Done.”
As night falls, animal and human parents everywhere tenderly tuck their children into bed. In the darkness, each child—raccoon, doe, rabbit, field mouse, and a little boy—wonders: Will I be safe? Will you be there for me? And every mommy and daddy responds with the comforting words of Yarrow’s refrain: “I am here.”

Caldecott Honor-winning artist Melissa Sweet has created gorgeous images that celebrate the loving bond between parent and child, as well as the connection between all creatures of the earth.

In a great green room, tucked away in bed, is a little bunny. “Goodnight room, goodnight moon.” And to all the familiar things in the softly lit room–to the picture of the three little bears sitting in chairs, to the clocks and his socks, to the mittens and the kittens, to everything one by one–he says goodnight.

In this classic of modern children’s literature, beloved by generations of readers and listeners, the quiet poetry of the words and the gentle, lulling illustrations combine to make a perfect book for the end of the day.

  • How to Get Rid of an Almost Boyfriend Who’s Wasting Your Time

WomanOverBoyfriend_400You have no time for men who are Almost Boyfriends. You know the ones, they come into your life when it’s convenient for them, whisper sweet nothings, and then leave you hanging. It’s time to leave the dead weight behind for good. From I Had a Nice Time and Other Lies…: How to Find Love & Sh*t Like That.

You shouldn’t be tolerating in-between behavior. It’s totally okay to have a bro you like to hook up with when you’re bored and no one else is around—that’s what we call a backburner bro—as long as both you and he have a mutual understanding of what your relationship is and definitely isn’t. But it’s not okay to lie to yourself and say you’re completely fine being just friends with benefits when you actually want more. Own your feelings. It’s lame and pathetic to lie to all your friends and yourself. Once you recognize that you’ve emotionally masturbated this guy into someone whom he will never be and that he is simply not that into you, you only have one option: Cut the cord.

Say no when he suggests canceling your dinner date to watch a movie. Turn off the Taylor Swift and ignore his Snapchats and Instagram likes. Ignore his eleven p.m. texts suggesting that you “should chill this weekend” that never prompt any follow-up plan-making texts. Remind yourself every time you get a seemingly random check-in that you deserve to be someone’s priority, and this bro obviously has not made you his.

This guy can tell you a hundred times over that you are witty, gorgeous, smart, kind, sexy, fun, and every other adjective for amazing, but you have to believe it and accept it yourself. If you truly believe you have these qualities, you won’t fall victim to guys who use their words instead of actions to convey their feelings. Talk is literally the cheapest thing you can do. It costs no money and requires no effort. Words are bullshit. If you really want to see if a guy is into you, look at his actions. You want to be with someone who takes your life into consideration, who plans dates ahead of time, who goes out of his way to be present in your life. If they don’t demonstrate that they think they are lucky to be with you, you will never be treated the way you deserve to be.

You need to acknowledge all the moving pieces in this puzzle of your pseudo relationship with him and learn from it for future relationships. Figure out what it is about this guy that makes him a bad match for you and the reasons behind why you’re attracted to guys like him in the first place. Next time you’ll be smarter about the guys you let yourself have feelings for. If you do it right, these realizations and growth will be big stepping-stones in your life, and you will use your experience with him in so many more ways than you can even imagine right now.

Finally, delete his fucking texts, e-mails, and notes. Believe us, the word “‘sup ” doesn’t magically change into “I’ve loved you all along” after the fifth read. Don’t tell all your friends that you’re done with him. They don’t give a shit. Just be done with him. Be confident, brave, and independent. Don’t look back, Betch, you’re on to better things.

“Habitual caffeine use leads to tolerance, which dulls several of caffeine’s effects”

Certain people have much less tolerance for this ingredient, and mixing it alongside other stimulants can raise the risk for unwanted side effects.

Yohimbe: Tree bark extract which is used to help with fat burning.  Web MD has also stated:

“Yohimbe, taken by mouth, is POSSIBLY UNSAFE”

Rapid heart rate, anxiety, and high blood pressure.

Headaches, skin rash, and allergic reactions.

It’s been linked to serious side effects, especially when mixed alongside other stimulants such as caffeine. This can include:

High blood pressure, stroke, and heart attack.
Migraines, headaches, and ringing in the ears.
Agitation, pain in the chest, and insomnia.

Dendrobium:  Orchid extract that’s found in parts of Asia. The chemicals in this are said to lower blood pressure and reduce pain.  This has not been studied in humans.

    Web MD also adds:

“There isn’t enough information to know id Dendrobium is safe or what side effects it might cause”

Without research, it’s impossible to determine what kinds of effects it may have.

There have also been several complaints about a lack of customer service support. People tried to leave voicemails, emails, and repeatedly they failed to receive any help. There have also been issues with people getting unsolicited products charged to their accounts.
